摘要: A method, system, and computer program product for federating tags across multiple web-based systems in order to provide an improved tag management system which allows users of a community to upload their contributions to the content of the content server systems, including uploading their tags. The method includes: storing tags in a central database, wherein the central database accesses the resources and the tags of the multiple systems; retrieving all tags from the central database; displaying the tags to a user; receiving a search request by the user, wherein the user search comprises selection of specific tags or specification of tag search criteria; generating a tag cloud containing references to tag-associated resources which result from the search, wherein the resources may reside in any one of the systems; and displaying the resources.

摘要: A method for detection of spam in a tagging system can include assigning negative points to each tag in the tagging system responsive to the tag matching at least one spam filter criteria, assigning trust points to a tagger responsive to the tagger's behavior matching at least one tagger filter criteria, wherein the at least one tagger filter criteria depends upon tags assigned by the tagger that are assigned negative points, and restricting a tagging functionality of the tagging system for a tagger if a first predefined threshold of negative trust points is exceeded.

摘要: This application explores the value of Web 2.0 techniques to perform adaptation based on semantic annotations. Semantic annotations are used to derive user and context models which in turn are used for performing the re-ordering of page layouts or the dynamic transformation of navigation topologies to provide a more user specific portal user interface. The semantic annotations also allow similarities and relationships to be calculated between resources and users so that additional relevant annotations and/or resources can be recommend to the user.

摘要: A network-based communication and information discovery solution that pertains to network-accessible resources and the use of interlinks among resources. In one embodiment, dynamic interlinking of resources is proposed, wherein the resources reside in a web-based system and are accessible via web-clients. The resources can be representable by an administrator in a graph-like structure interlinking the resources with each other and thus defining a navigation model. An extended navigation model can be implemented by a user-generated, personal or collaborative interlinking functionality.

摘要: The disclosed system relates to the field of network computing, and in particular to method and system for designing a Web Portal including a hierarchical structure of portal pages and portlets for accessing Web contents accessible via the Portal. The disclosed system operates to improve Web application user navigation. During navigation by a user in the topology of the Web portal, the disclosed system automatically senses information about the navigational behaviour of the user for each page visited during said navigation. The disclosed system derives page hits and page target hits from the sensed information, wherein page hits are defined when pages are clicked on for reaching another page, and page target hits are defined when a user clicks on pages in order to perform a page-specific task or to receive some page-specific information. The disclosed system uses at least one predefined metric based on the sensed information for generating a utility ranking for the Web pages visited during the user navigation, and defines a user-specific navigation topology based on a prioritization of the ranked Web pages, wherein higher ranked Web pages are arranged in relatively higher topology levels. The disclosed system displays the user-specific topology to the user after a subsequent user log-in to the Web portal.

摘要: A method for constructing pageflows by analyzing multiple clickstreams traversed by a user involves analyzing stored navigation interactions of a user to identify segments comprising interconnected nodes sequentially traversed by the user in a single navigation path during a session and to distinguish segments comprising nodes unrelated to other nodes traversed during the session and generating and storing a pageflow consisting of a list of semantically related nodes sequentially traversed by the user at least a pre-determined number of times in a single navigation path during the session based on an analysis of the stored navigation interactions of the user for the clickstream session. The stored pageflow is displayed for the user by a pageflow navigator, and the user is prompted with options to select and recall sequences of nodes from the pageflow and/or to transform the pageflow into an XML structure for export.
