摘要： There is provided a safe and effective means of introducing an alkoxymethyl group onto the ring Nitrogen atom of a wide variety of pyrrole compounds via the reaction of the appropriate pyrrole precursor sequentially with dialkoxymethane, Vilsmeier reagent and a tertiary amine. The product 1-(alkoxymethyl)pyrroles are useful as insecticidal, acaricidal, nematocidal and molluscicidal agents.
