    摘要: A start-up circuit in a switch-mode power converter that employs a Zener diode to provide a reference voltage to reduce the power consumption and the size of the start-up circuit. The start-up circuit also includes a coarse current source and a coarse reference voltage signal generator for producing current and reference voltage for initial startup operation of a bandgap circuit. The reference signal and current from coarse current source and the reference voltage signal generator are subject to large process, voltage and temperature (PVT) variations or susceptible to noise from the power supply, and hence, these signals are used temporarily during start-up and replaced with signals from higher performance components. After bandgap circuit becomes operational, the start-up receives voltage reference signal from the bandgap circuit to more accurately detect undervoltage lockout conditions.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for ATM network planning is described. ATM network planning involves designing an ATM network to support traffic demands, which may include voice, data, image and video traffic. It is desirable to design a backbone network for a metropolitan area which minimizes the total network cost. The design process includes the determination of network topology, location and configuration of switches, dimensioning of all links, etc. A heuristic method is described which provides a near-optimal lowest cost network design with the cost reasonably certain to be close to the optimal solution. The advantage is a versatile method which can reliably produce a lowest cost network plan in a reasonable time.

    摘要: The present provides a soymilk machine/juicer with grinding function, comprising a pair of concentric rotator (13) and stator (14) that are vertically arranged in a house. There are at least two thread convex ribs (16) on said rotator (14), and the thread convex ribs (16) are evenly distributed on the outer surface of a rotator body (15). Rotary clearance is defined between the thread convex ribs (16) of the rotator (13) and the inner wall of the stator (14). The middle upper part of said rotator body (15) is a revolved portion with small upside and large downside. The clearance of the upside of the rotator body (15) corresponding to an upper filter net (17) on the stator (14) is largest, which is the smashing section for dealing with stuff after stuff is fed. The clearance of the middle part of the rotator body (15) corresponding to the middle upper part of an abrasive disc of the stator (14) is medium-size, which is for smashing stuff further. The clearance of the middle lower part of the rotator body (15) corresponding to the lower part of the abrasive disc of the stator (14) is gradually shortened to less than 1 mm, which is the grinding section for stuff. The part of the rotator (13) under the grinding section corresponding to a lower filter net (18) on the stator (14) is the separating section for the soymilk from residue. The rotator of said soymilk machine/juicer can rotate stably and have less noise, and stuff can be grinded to be finer.

    摘要: A controller integrated circuit (IC) for controlling a power converter uses one or more IC pins having plurality of functions such as configuration of a parameter supported by the controller IC and shutdown protection. Several different functions may be supported by a single IC pin, thereby reducing the number of pins required in the controller IC and also reducing the cost of manufacturing the controller IC. The controller IC may also share a comparison circuit among different pins and the different functions provided by those pins. Use of a shared comparison circuit further reduces the cost of manufacturing the controller IC without sacrificing the performance of the IC.
