Abstract: A system for determining relevant information based on user interactions may include a processor configured to receive data and associated relevance information from a data source and a set of signals describing a current environment of a user or historical user behavior information in which the data source being local to a computing device. The processor may be further configured to provide, using a machine learning model, a relevance score for each of multiple data items based at least in part on the received relevance information and the set of signals. The processor may be further configured to sort the data items based on a ranking of each relevance score for each data item. The processor may be further configured to provide, as output, the multiple data items based at least in part on the ranking.

Abstract: Providing a visual treatment based on proximity to an obstruction includes collecting, by a device, a sensor data for an environment, and determining a velocity of the device. A boundary of a volume around the device is determined based on the velocity. If a physical object is detected within the boundary based on the sensor data, then a notification procedure is initiated. The boundary of the volume dynamically changes as the velocity of the device or user changes.

Abstract: One embodiment provides for an electronic device, comprising a non-transitory machine-readable medium to store instructions, one or more processors to execute the instructions, and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory can be configured to store a set of synchronization data associated with interaction between the electronic device and one or more applications and instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the one or more processors to retrieve a set of synchronization data to be transmitted from the electronic device to select a transport channel from one of a peer-to-peer channel or a network-based channel and transmit the set of synchronization data from the electronic device to one or more remote devices via the selected transport channel.

Abstract: The subject technology provides generating configuration files that represent user interaction scenarios on a device, the configuration files including a set of user interface (UI) elements to display and a set of interactions corresponding to user activity to perform on at least one UI element of the set of UI elements. The subject technology processes the configuration files using a relevance engine to determine a relevance score of each UI element of the set of UI elements, wherein the relevance score is based at least in part on weights assigned to features based on the user activity and respective variance values of the features, and the features include information related to a location or time. The subject technology generates a user simulation based machine learning model based at least on each relevance score of each UI element. The subject technology stores the user simulation based machine learning model on the device.

Abstract: Context-specific user interfaces, e.g., for use with a portable multifunction device, provide, inter alia, indications of time and, optionally, a variety of additional information. A user interface screen including a current time indicator and a first platter is displayed. The first platter is at a first position, is associated with a first application, and displays a first set of information obtained from the first application. The first set of information relates to a first temporal context of the current day. In response to detecting a user input, the first platter is displayed at a second position and a second platter is displayed at the first position. The second platter is associated with a second application and displays a second set of information obtained from the second application.
