Abstract: Disclosed are various approaches for using drag-and-drop to open local files remotely. In one approach, a client device renders a user interface including a first indicium corresponding to a local file of the client device and a second indicium corresponding to a remotely executed application. A drag-and-drop action of the first indicium relative to the second indicium is detected. Responsive to the drag-and-drop action, the remotely executed application opens a copy of the local file.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing compromised sensors in multi-tiered virtualized environments. In some embodiments, a system can receive, from a first capturing agent deployed in a virtualization layer of a first device, data reports generated based on traffic captured by the first capturing agent. The system can also receive, from a second capturing agent deployed in a hardware layer of a second device, data reports generated based on traffic captured by the second capturing agent. Based on the data reports, the system can determine characteristics of the traffic captured by the first capturing agent and the second capturing agent. The system can then compare the characteristics to determine a multi-layer difference in traffic characteristics. Based on the multi-layer difference in traffic characteristics, the system can determine that the first capturing agent or the second capturing agent is in a faulty state.

Abstract: An aspect of the invention hereby presented provides a means to display a first set of, for instance, documents in conjunction with a second set of documents when the second set of documents would not necessarily fit in the query used to select the documents of the first set of documents and/or would not necessarily fit the collation of the first set of documents. The second set of documents so located in relationship with the first set of documents having a beneficial effect for the understanding of the first set of documents. A system and a GUI thereof is also hereby presented.

Abstract: Techniques are provided to facilitate access to fragmented snapshot data. For example, a storage control system generates a snapshot data structure of a storage volume. The snapshot data structure comprises plurality of nodes comprising a volume node and one or more snapshot nodes, the volume node is configured to store new and updated data that is written to logical offsets of the storage volume, and the one or more snapshot nodes comprise point-in-time copies of data of the storage volume taken at different times. The storage control system adds an entry for the volume node in a metadata structure associated with the snapshot data structure, wherein the entry comprises a reference to a physical location of data held by a given one of the snapshot nodes at a given logical offset of the storage volume.

Abstract: System and methods for massive data management and tagging are disclosed herein. A method for automated file linking can include creating a sample set of files from a set of files, at least some of the files including metadata. The method can include identifying common metadata between files in the sample set of files from the file set, and identifying at least one link, one of which links can include the common metadata between files in the sample set of files. The method can include identifying files in the set of files, each of the identified files containing the link in their metadata, generating an association between the files containing the link in their metadata, and storing the association between the files containing the link in their metadata.

Abstract: A data restore system is provided. The data restore system includes a backup data storage configured to store data for a client and a data restore module configured to receive a restore trigger from the client and to initiate restore operation for selected data from the backup data storage in response to the received trigger. The data restore module is further configured to receive information regarding the selected data to be restored and access a metadata store to receive metadata information for the selected data and provide the metadata information and the downloaded data blocks to a controller to facilitate sorting of the downloaded data blocks based on the files they belong to and store the downloaded restored data to a target data storage. The data restore module is further configured to interact with the checkpointing module to track the progress of restore operation in persistent storage and to minimize rework when restore operation is restarted from interrupt.

Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques encompass using distinct machine learning sub-models to score respective types of candidate content for the purpose of providing personalized content suggestions to end-users of a content management system. The relevancy scores generated by the distinct sub-models are mapped to expected end-user interaction scores of the candidate content scored. Content suggestions are provided at end-users' computing devices where the suggested content is selected from the candidate content based on the expected end-user interaction scores of the candidate content. For each distinct sub-model, a normalizing mapping function is solved using an optimizer that maps the relevancy scores generated by the sub-model for the candidate content to expected end-user interaction scores for the candidate content. The expected end-user interaction scores are comparable across the distinct sub-models and can be used to rank content suggestions across the distinct sub-models.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to methods, systems, apparatuses, and non-transitory computer readable media for managing file generation and retention. These systems may be of used across a wide range of businesses to significantly automate the generation and storage of files. By utilizing nested file templates as described below, systems of the present disclosure may increase the ease in which a file template may be generated. Moreover, by using the file retention storage system described below, system of the present disclosure may simplify the process of ensuring files are retained for an appropriate amount of time and further assuring that files are deleted when they no longer need to be retained.

Abstract: A device for using message identifiers for Publish/subscribe messaging deduplication is described. The system may fetch one or more sets of data records from a data source, and each data record is associated with a message identifier. The system may store the one or more sets of data records in a data file, which is associated with a metadata comprising the message identifier, a file path and a row number for each data record. The system may determine whether one or more of the data records are duplicated based on the associated message identifiers. In response to determining that the one or more data records are duplicated, the system may generate a second metadata comprising the file paths and row numbers associated with the duplicated data records.
