摘要: This disclosure relates to techniques for a wireless device to determine whether to display an indicator of millimeter wave cellular availability. A wireless device may establish a radio resource control connection that includes connectivity with a fifth generation new radio millimeter wave cell. The wireless device may determine to display an indication of millimeter wave cell availability. The wireless device may determine location status information and motion status information for the wireless device. The wireless device may determine when to cease displaying the indication of millimeter wave cell availability after the radio resource control connection is released or the millimeter wave cell is deconfigured based at least in part on the location status information for the wireless device and the motion status information for the wireless device.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for refreshing a GUTI of a UE. The UE may receive a GUTI from an AMF as part of a registration process. After a timer has expired, the UE may receive a new GUTI from the AMF. The timer may be provided by the UE as a request for use by the AMF. Alternatively, the timer may be used by the UE and the UE may request the new GUTI upon expiry of the timer, e.g., using an existing message or a new message, as desired.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for enhancement of multi-SIM devices, such as UE 106. A network may increase paging retries for known MU-SIM devices, e.g., based on an indication of capabilities from a MU-SIM device. The indication may be via a NAS registration request, an RRC capability procedure, and/or an RRC UE assistance procedure. Additionally, a network may include an indication of a paging priority to the UE. The UE may then determine a response to the page based, at least in part, on the indicated priority. Further, the UE may indicate a tune-away to the network. The indication of the tune-away may include a cause and/or duration for the tune-away and may be provided at an RRC level or a network access stratum (NAS) level.

The wireless device may perform a remedial action(s) responsive to detection of a data stall condition(s)/hint(s), including initiating a service recovery of the cellular interface, initiating a radio access technology (RAT) upgrade procedure, and/or initiating a handover procedure to a neighbor cell.

A wireless device may establish a wireless link with a cellular network via a cell that operates according to a first radio access technology. The wireless device may determine if access to the cellular network is also available via a cell that operates according to a second radio access technology, by configuration by the serving cell or from another standalone cell. The wireless device may select a radio access technology availability indicator to present based at least in part on determining if access to the cellular network is also available via a cell that operates according to the second radio access technology.
