Abstract: An illustrative example embodiment of a connector shell includes a connector cover and a cable-guiding sleeve having a curved conduit. The cover and the cable-guiding sleeve are made up of two separate elements. The cable-guiding sleeve is mounted on the cover so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation. The cable-guiding sleeve and the cover comprise means for blocking the rotation of the cable-guiding sleeve on the cover in at least two different pre-set angular positions about the axis of rotation. These blocking means comprise shapes that engage with each other in a complementary way, and that are able to release each other and allow the passage from one angular position to the next.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a connector assembly. The connector assembly includes a connector housing adapted to engage with a corresponding counter-connector housing. A lever including a first lever arm and a second lever arm is pivotably and sealingly mounted to the connector housing. Each lever arm includes interlocking means for connecting the first lever arm to the second lever arm at a first location. The interlocking means of each of the first lever arm and the second lever arm are configured to define complementary symmetrical surfaces that interlock with one another when the lever arms are pivotably mounted to the connector housing. On mounting the lever arms to the connector housing, the lever is configured to move about the connector housing between an open state and a closed state to secure the counter-connector housing to the connector housing.

Abstract: A rotatable interface assembly for an electrical connector, an electrical connector, a connector system, and a method for coupling the system is presented herein. The rotatable interface assembly includes a connector component, having an electrical contact for electrically connecting electrical elements via a corresponding counter connector. The rotatable interface assembly further includes a base part and a rotatable part. The base part at least partially houses the connector component and has a securing means for being secured to a fixed counterpart. The rotatable part being configured to receive the corresponding counter connector at least partially under a specific angular orientation. The rotatable part is arranged on the base part, so as to be rotatable around a rotational axis relative to the base part. The rotatable part can be rotated around the rotational axis in a desired angular orientation that matches an orientation of a corresponding counter connector, to allow to receive the corresponding counter connector under different angular orientations, relative to the base part.
