    Abstract: A cable lug for a connector includes a first portion having a receiving end receiving a cable and a second portion extending from the first portion and having a through hole through which a stud can be passed. The through hole extends transversally through a first surface and a second surface of the second portion opposite one another. At least one of the first surface and the second surface has a protrusion projecting away from the at least one of the first surface and the second surface. The protrusion is positioned between the through hole and the first portion and is spaced apart from the first portion.

    Abstract: A terminal assembly structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a crimp terminal having a crimp portion configured to crimp and connect a core wire of an electric wire and a fastening portion configured to be fastened by a fastening member; and a holder having a base portion configured to place the crimp terminal when fastening the crimp terminal to the holder. The holder has a detection rib at a position on the base portion to be oppose to the crimp portion of the crimp terminal, the detection rib being configured to interfere with the crimp portion when misassembly of front and back sides of the crimp terminal to the holder occurs.

    Abstract: A connector includes a housing and a terminal assembly. The housing includes a housing body portion having a through hole penetrating in a first direction. The terminal assembly includes a terminal, a holding component to be inserted into the through hole together with the terminal, a sealing member for sealing between an inner wall of the through hole and the terminal by being directly mounted on the terminal and a nut to be mounted and temporarily held in the holding component. The holding component includes a terminal insertion hole, into which the terminal is inserted, a terminal positioning portion for positioning the terminal inserted into the terminal insertion hole and a nut positioning portion provided to be continuous with the terminal positioning portion for positioning the nut. The housing includes a nut holding wall for holding the nut in a state positioned by the nut positioning portion.

    Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a Litz wire having multiple wire strands. Each wire strand has a conductor and an insulator. The electrical connector assembly includes an electrical contact having a contact portion at a mating end and a Litz wire termination portion at a terminating end. The contact portion is configured to make an electrical connection with a mating contact. The Litz wire termination portion is crimped to an end of the Litz wire. The Litz wire termination portion is heated by an induction heating device after being crimped to the end of the Litz wire to heat the wire strands and melt away the insulators of the wire strands to electrically connect the conductors at the end of the Litz wire to make an electrical connection with the individual wire strands of the Litz wire.
