摘要： There is provided a method for use by a content navigation module for managing delivery of content. The method comprising communicating an identifier contained in the content navigation module with a first computing device to enable the first computing device to receive a selected content from a presentation server over a network; receiving a delivery progress of the selected content from the first computing device periodically; storing the delivery progress of the selected content; losing communication with the first computing device after storing the delivery progress; and communicating the identifier contained in the content navigation module and the delivery progress of the selected content with a second computing device to enable the second computing device to resume receiving the selected content from the server over the network according to the delivery progress of the selected content stored in the content navigation module.

摘要： A method and system of selectively projecting images is disclosed. An illuminated area is created on a projection surface by directing a light source to the projection surface. The illuminated area is detected with a camera. Electrical signals are transmitted from the camera to the projector, the electrical signals being indicative of the position of the illuminated area in relation to the projection surface. Based on the received electrical signals, an image and a second image are projected on the projection surface. The image is projected on the illuminated area of the projection surface. The second image is projected on an area of the projection surface that is not illuminated by the light source. Applications of this method and system include the projection of background and foreground images creating the illusion of an x-ray beam, the projection of a normal image and an overblown image creating the illusion of a magnifying light beam.

摘要： There is provided a method for use by a server for facilitating a transfer of a computer file from a first computer to a second computer. The method comprises receiving the computer file and correspondence information from the first computer, generating a transaction code associated with the receiving the computer file and the correspondence information, creating a storage file associated with the transaction code in a storage device in communication with the server, storing the computer file in the storage device using the storage file, sending a notification message having the transaction code to the second computer, receiving the transaction code from the second computer for retrieving the computer file, locating the storage file associated with the transaction code, retrieving the computer file from the storage device, transmitting the computer file retrieved from the storage device to the second computer.
