Abstract: A computing device and a computing system for digital currency are disclosed. The computing system comprises: computing devices (comprising first and second computing devices) each comprising two ports; and a signal transmission path connecting the computing devices in series. Each computing device is connected to the signal transmission path via the two ports. The first computing device is configured to receive, from the signal transmission path through one of the two ports, a signal specific to an address of the first computing device to a local storage device thereof. The second computing device is configured to receive, from the signal transmission path through one of the two ports, a signal to a local storage device thereof, and forward the signal, which is not specific to an address of the second computing device, or an adjusted version of the signal to the signal transmission path through one of the ports.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein may involve queue versioning. An example implementation may involve a playback device initiating playback of a queue including one or more first audio streams. A queue identification token stored in data storage represents a current version of the queue. The playback device receives, from a computing system, data representing instructions to add one or more second audio streams to the queue, the instructions including an indication of the one or more second audio streams and a first token representing an expected queue version. The playback device determines whether the expected queue version represented by the first token matches the current version of the queue represented by the queue identification token. If not, the playback device foregoes adding the one or more second audio streams to the queue.

Abstract: Using a model executing on a classical processor, a set of classical features is scored. The scored set of classical features is divided into a set of feature groups, a number of classical features in a group determined according to a qubit capability of a quantum processor. Using a model executing on the quantum processor and a group of the scored set of classical features, a set of quantum features is scored. The score of a quantum feature is adjusted according to an accuracy of the quantum data model. The scored set of classical features and the scored set of quantum features are combined according to a measure of differences between the scored set of classical features and the scored set of quantum features. Using the combined set of scored features and a first set of input data of a resource, a valuation of a resource is calculated.

Abstract: A server system, based on content of a first file stored on a first client device being modified, automatically receives a copy of the modified first file from a first transfer client, implemented on the first client device, the copy of the modified first file being an updated version of the first file generated from content of the first file being modified. The server system receives, from the first transfer client, first metadata associated with the updated version of the first file, the first metadata being assigned a first priority greater than a second priority assigned to the copy of the modified first file. The server system automatically transfers the first metadata to a second transfer client, implemented on a second client device, before the copy of the modified first file is transferred to the second transfer client to be stored on the second client device.

Abstract: A system and method are provided that, among other things, can reduce the burden on receiving computers, increase data throughput, reduce system failure, and provide components of a scalable and flexible network architecture. Specifically, the system and method provide a multichannel-multicast network environment for use in dynamically assigning data to channels. This configuration is particularly useful in a trading network environment, as it effectively performs channel reassignments in a way not to disturb the receipt of the underlying data. While the example embodiments described herein pertain to electronic trading, the principles of the present invention may be equally applied in other environments where the advantages presented herein are beneficial.

Abstract: A switch fabric is disclosed that includes a serial communications interface and a parallel communications interface. The serial communications interface is configured for connecting a plurality of slave devices to a master device in parallel to transmit information between the plurality of slave devices and the master device, and the parallel communications interface is configured for separately connecting the plurality of slave devices to the master device to transmit information between the plurality of slave devices and the master device, and to transmit information between individual ones of the plurality of slave devices. The parallel communications interface may comprise a dedicated parallel communications channel for each one of the plurality of slave devices. The serial communications interface may comprise a multidrop bus, and the parallel communications interface may comprise a cross switch.

Abstract: A proxy server receives from a client device a request for a network resource that is hosted at an origin server for a domain. The request is received at the proxy server as a result of DNS request for the domain returning an IP address of the proxy server instead of an IP address of the origin server. The proxy server retrieves the requested network resource. The proxy server determines that the retrieved network resource includes at least one modification token that is of a type that indicates a threat to the client device. For at least this modification token, the proxy server automatically modifies at least a portion of the retrieved network resource that corresponds to that modification token. The proxy server transmits the modified network resource to the client device.

Abstract: A quantum-enhanced system and method for natural language processing (NLP) for generating a word embedding on a hybrid quantum-classical computer. A training set is provided on the classical computer, wherein the training set provides at least one pair of words, and at least one binary value indicating the correlation between the pair of words. The quantum computer generates quantum state representations for each word in the pair of words. The quantum component evaluates the quantum correlation between the quantum state representations of the word pair using an engineering likelihood function and a Bayesian inference. Training the word embedding on the quantum computer is provided using an error function containing the binary value and the quantum correlation.

Abstract: An electromagnetic connector is disclosed that is configured to form a first magnetic circuit portion comprising a first core member and a first coil disposed of the first core member. The electromagnetic connector is configured to mate with a second electromagnetic connector, where the second electromagnetic connector is configured to form a second magnetic circuit portion comprising a second core member and a second coil disposed of the second core member. The first core member and the second core member are configured to couple the first coil to the second coil with a magnetic circuit formed from the first magnetic circuit portion and the second magnetic circuit portion when the electromagnetic connector is mated with the second electromagnetic connector. The magnetic circuit is configured to induce a signal in the first coil when the second coil is energized.
