    摘要: A mapping table holds correspondence relation between quality of service information of wired sections and quality of service information of wireless sections. A quality of service information converter, upon receiving encapsulated packets directed from a mobile communication network to a wireless local area network terminal, acquires quality of service information of wired sections that has been conferred to the packets, and finds quality of service information of wireless sections that corresponds to the quality of service information of wired sections in the mapping table. The quality of service information converter then uses this quality of service information of wireless sections to wirelessly transmit the encapsulated packets to a wireless local area network terminal.

    摘要: In a wireless base station device, a PDCP buffer unit temporarily stores data sent from a core network device for the purpose of sending the data to a mobile station device. A data measurement unit measures the volume of data stored in a PDCP buffer unit. On the basis of a measurement value of the data volume measured by the data measurement unit, the congestion state determination unit determines whether or not the PDCP buffer unit is in a congestion state. In the core network device, a sending data storage unit stores data to be sent to the wireless base station device. On the basis of a result of the determination by the congestion state determination unit, a transmission/reception unit sends the data stored in the sending data storage unit to the wireless base station device. In this way, loss of data communicated between the communication devices is reduced.

    摘要: A communication apparatus and a communication control method are provided that can transmit a high-priority stream and interrupt a transmission of a low-priority stream when a network is busy, and control the transmissions of streams for each stream. The communication apparatus determines whether or not a congestion degree of communication with a communication destination apparatus has exceeded a predetermined determination value, transmits a plurality of streams to the communication destination apparatus in parallel under a situation in which the congestion degree does not exceed the determination value, and thereafter interrupts at least a transmission of a stream having priority lower than other streams among the plurality of streams transmitted in parallel if the congestion degree exceeds the determination value, the priority of each stream being indicated by priority information.

    摘要: In order to more quickly detect a failure in a radio base station and complement the coverage thereof, a first base station included in a communication system forms a first cell to conduct radio communication with one or more mobile stations. A second base station, which is placed adjacent to the first base station, forms a second cell to conduct radio communication with one or more mobile stations. The first base station conducts communication with the second base station to monitor whether or not a failure occurs in the second base station. When it is detected as a result of the monitoring that the failure occurs in the second base station, the first base station expands coverage of the first cell so as to complement that of the second cell.
