Abstract: An airbag and an airbag assembly including a gas generator and an airbag. The airbag (10) forms a first end (11) and a second end (12), the first end (11) being a free end of the airbag, and the second end (12) being used for fixing the airbag to a mounting position. The airbag (10) forms a folding portion (13) and a rolling portion (14) in the collapsed stat. The folding portion (13) is formed by folding one part of the airbag in an “N” shape; the rolling portion (14) surrounds a periphery of the folding portion (13), so that the folding portion (13) is surrounded by an inner side of the rolling portion (14).

Abstract: A safety airbag, including: an air bag, having an inflated and stowed state; and a gas generator, used to inflate the air bag to the inflated state, wherein the air bag includes a body portion and a cut-out portion, the cut-out portion being formed as being cut out from the air bag, but still remaining integral with the body portion, and in the inflated state, the cut-out portion being oriented in a predetermined direction relative to the body portion via an orienting member. Using the cut-out portion to provide protection for the head of an occupant increases the utilization rate of a material for making an air bag. In addition, the height of the airbag curtain is relatively large only at the cut-out portion, and is relatively small at the remaining positions, thereby reducing the volume of the air bag.

Abstract: Provided are an airbag, an airbag assembly, and a folding method for an airbag. The airbag has a first end, a second end, and a third end, wherein the third end is formed by folding the airbag between the first end and the second end, the second end and the third end are free ends of the airbag, and the first end is used for fixing the airbag to a mounting position. When in a stored state, the airbag has a first rolled portion and a second rolled portion, the second end is located in the first rolled portion, the third end is located in the second rolled portion, the second end is located outside of the second rolled portion, and the third end is located outside of the first rolled portion. The airbag can be stored in a mounting space in a vehicle more efficiently.
