Abstract: [Problem] To provide an airbag anticipated to suitably protect a passenger of a vehicle.[Resolution means] The airbag according to the present embodiment includes: an inner bag having a facing surface facing a passenger of a vehicle in the deployed state; an outer bag which is provided so as to surround the outer periphery of the inner bag with the facing surface exposed; and two protrusion parts which are provided in the outer bag and respectively disposed on the left and right sides in the width direction of the vehicle with respect to the facing surface so as to protrude rearward. For example, the inner bag and the outer bag may be partitioned by a common partition wall, with a ventilation port formed in the partition wall. Moreover, for example, the inner bag and the outer bag may each be independent bag bodies, a ventilation port may be formed in both the inner bag and the outer bag, and the inner bag and the outer bag may be coupled around the ventilation port.

Abstract: A knee airbag device according to the present invention includes: an airbag that restrains a lower extremity of an occupant by expanding and deploying below an instrument panel of a vehicle; and an inflator that supplies expansion gas to the airbag. The airbag includes, when the inside of the vehicle is a first side and the outside of the vehicle is a second side, a first portion positioned on the first side and a second portion positioned on the second side. Furthermore, the first portion of the airbag protrudes more toward the occupant side than the second portion.

Abstract: [Problem] To provide an airbag apparatus in which the injury value of a passenger can be efficiently suppressed in an emergency.[Resolution means] An airbag apparatus 100 is provided with a cushion 108 which expands and deploys from in front of a seat 104. The cushion 108 is provided with: a front restraining part 128 which restrains the head 146 of a passenger 144 from the front of a vehicle; and protrusion parts 124, 126 which are provided beside the front restraining part 128 in the width direction of the vehicle and protrude and expand further towards the rear of the vehicle than the front restraining part 128. The airbag apparatus 100 is further provided, inside the cushion 108, with: inner tethers 130, 132 which are connected to the front restraining part 128 and to which tension is applied to pull the front restraining part 128 towards the front of the vehicle; and outer tethers 134, 136 which are connected to the protrusion parts 124, 126 and to which tension is applied to pull the protrusion parts 124, 126 towards the front of the vehicle. When tension is applied to the inner tethers 130, 132, force towards the inner tethers 130, 132 is applied to the outer tethers 134, 136.

Abstract: A side airbag device includes: an inflator; a cushion main body that is disposed at a side of a seat of a vehicle and that is expandable from the side toward a front of the vehicle by a gas; a cushion protrusion that is disposed at a vehicle front side with respect to the cushion main body and that is expandable to project further toward the front of the vehicle by receiving the gas from the cushion main body; a tether that is string-shaped, the tether bridging from the cushion protrusion over a predetermined position of the side of the seat, the tether maintaining the cushion protrusion in a state in which the cushion protrusion is folded back toward a rear of the vehicle; a sensor that receives information from the vehicle; and a tether cutter that cuts the tether according to the information obtained by the sensor.
