摘要： An improvement in a ski binding arrangement wherein a ski boot is secured to a sole plate which in turn is releasably secured to a ski. The ski boot is pivotally secured by a front support to the sole plate and the heel of the ski boot is releasably secured to the sole plate. The ski boot is comprised of two parts, an upper leg part which is pivotally secured about a horizontal axis relative to the lower boot part. The heel holding assembly serves to lock the upper part of the ski boot to the lower part of the ski boot when the skier is using the ski boot in a downhill skiing environment. A movement of the heel holding assembly to a non-use or cross-country skiing position will facilitate a relative movement between the upper leg portion of the ski boot and the lower boot part.

In the anti-crossing device for skis, the resilient projection member will prevent movement of a ski to the crossed position in one direction while simultaneously permitting movement of the ski in the opposite direction by flexing the resilient projection downwardly onto the upper surface of the ski. In the ski brake environment, the ski boot effects a resilient flexing of the projection member down onto the upper surface of the ski when the ski boot is mounted between the ski bindings. The resilient projection member has extension members which project below the lower surface of the ski when the resilient projection member is in the upright position.

The part of the binding in the recess cooperates as desired with the other binding part which latter is fixed to the ski. In this invention the recess is transverse of the boot and open at both ends. The boot sole may be longitudinally curved on the bottom thereof to facilitate walking. Ribs may be provided within the recess to urge snow and ice outwardly through its open ends as such snow and ice is packed thereinto.

A pressure is exerted by the bladder (1) onto the leg through the body weight applied to the base pad (2) when the foot is loaded.

摘要： The cross-country ski boot (1) has protrusions (4) extending laterally downward over its sole (3), the clear width between said protrusions essentially corresponding to the width of the ski (2) so that the ski (2) is in its operating position embraced by the sole of the boot (1). The cross-country ski boot (1) is secured against being shifted in the longitudinal direction (5) of the ski (2) by a swingable locking member (17) which, when swung in a position pointing to the ski tip, releases the sole protrusion (12) of the cross-country ski boot (1) and, upon having been swung into the operating position, fastens the sole protrusion to the surface of the ski. Thus one single swingable locking element suffices to secure the cross-country ski boot (1) in its position.
