摘要： A valve for use in a well pipe string including an apertured diaphragm for producing a variable restriction in fluid flow through the valve for controlled filling while running the well pipe and an expandable tapered valve seat for cooperating with a ball to allow the ball to pass downwardly through the valve seat to convert the valve to a reverse flow check valve to prevent subsequent upward flow of fluid through the valve.
