Abstract: Process for making a modified granule or powder comprising an alkali metal salt of an aminocarboxylate complexing agent (A), said process comprising the steps of
(a) providing a granule or powder comprising an alkali metal salt of an aminocarboxylate complexing agent (A), (b) treating said granule or powder with the respective aminocarboxylate complexing agent (A) in which at least one amino group or carboxyl group per molecule is present in the acid form, in the presence or absence of water, (c) performing a heat treatment at a temperature in the range of from 80 to 150° C.
