Abstract: Process and apparatus for crimping yarns or the like by the action of a heated flowing gaseous medium, the yarns being exposed to the heated flowing gaseous medium in two successive treatment chambers. Yarns of synthetic linear high molecular weight substances can be crimped by means of the process and apparatus according to the invention in a simple way and at high yarn speeds.
