Abstract: Process for the continuous production of fibre-reinforced polyamide moulding compositions, wherein a fibre structure is impregnated with a polymerisation mixture consisting of a lactam, alkali or alkaline earth metal salt of an acid the pK of which is between 3 and the pK of the lactam, and an isocyanate activator, thereafter polymerisation is carried out and then the impregnated fibre structure is chopped to a granulate.
