摘要: A method for establishes a communication connection between at least one health care professional (HCP) remote device (CP, 3) and at least one medical device (7). The method includes: establishing a first communication connection between the CP with a remote monitoring server (RMS, 1), establishing a second communication connection between the RMS and a patient remote device (PR, 5), and establishing a third communication connection between the PR and the medical device. The CP is configured to optimize an internal device process such that the first communication connection can be maintained as continuous communication connection. The PR is configured to optimize an internal device process such that the second and/or third communication connection can be maintained as continuous communication connection. A remote programming session and/or interrogation session of the medical device is initiated if the communication connection between the CP and the medical device is successfully established.

摘要: In a method for initiating a data transfer from an implantable medical device a relay data request is generated at a remote device, the relay data request containing an implant interrogation request representing a request for the implantable medical device to create an interrogation data set. The relay data request is transferred to a patient device, and a communication link between the patient device and the implantable medical device is established to transmit said implant interrogation request to the implantable medical device. An implant interrogation response is transferred from the implantable medical device to the patient device, the implant interrogation response representing a response from the implantable medical device containing said interrogation data set. The implant interrogation response is transferred from the patient device to the remote device.

摘要: A system includes at least one medical device, a remote monitoring server (RMS), at least one patient remote device (PR) and at least one health care professional (HCP) remote device (CP). The system is configured such that one CP establishes a communication session connecting the one CP via the RMS and the PR with the chosen medical device by establishing a first bidirectional communication connection of the one CP and the RMS, triggering the RMS to establish a second bidirectional communication connection of the RMS and the PR corresponding to the chosen medical device and to establish a third bidirectional communication connection of the PR and the chosen medical device. The system is configured to provide real-time remote programming and/or interrogation of the chosen medical device using the one CP via the RMS and the corresponding PR, and to maintain continuous communication connections.
