摘要: The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for reducing delay while providing secure communications between nodes. An exemplary method embodiment includes a first node performing the steps of: identifying packets corresponding to a first communications session, the first communications session corresponding to a first application type; segmenting at least a first packet corresponding to the first communications session into at least a first packet portion and a second packet portion, the first packet including a first packet header and a first packet payload, the first packet portion including at least a portion of the first packet header, the second packet portion including at least a portion of the first packet payload; communicating, in encrypted form, the first packet portion from the first node to a security function node; and communicating, in unencrypted form, the second packet portion from the first node to the security function node.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for setting up a subscription profile in a subscriber identity module, preferably an embedded UICC, wherein the following method steps take place in the subscriber identity module: receiving a subscription profile encrypted with a cryptographic key of a subscription server, wherein the cryptographic key for decrypting the subscription profile is unknown to the subscriber identity module at the time of receiving; storing the encrypted subscription profile without decrypting the subscription profile; receiving the cryptographic key at a time after the storing step; decrypting the encrypted subscription profile with the cryptographic key; and installing the decrypted subscription profile to set up the subscription profile in the subscriber identity module. The invention also relates to a corresponding method in a subscription server, a subscriber identity module, and a computer program product.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to security communication in ProSe U2N relay. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, remote UE and relay UE receive a configuration comprising at least a set of indicators of a CP based security procedure or a UP based security procedure for a set of relay services. Based on an indicator for a relay service in the set of indicators, the remote UE and relay UE performs one of the CP based security procedure or the UP based security procedure for a communication between the remote UE and the relay UE for the relay service. In this way, remote UE and remote UE may correctly trigger a security procedure for U2N relay communication.

摘要: A secure ranging system can use a secure processing system to deliver one or more ranging keys to a ranging radio on a device, and the ranging radio can derive locally at the system ranging codes based on the ranging keys. A deterministic random number generator can derive the ranging codes using the ranging key and one or more session parameters, and each device (e.g. a cellular telephone and another device) can independently derive the ranging codes and derive them contemporaneously with their use in ranging operations.

摘要: Based on a service agreement between a first wireless network provider and a content provider, a user, who subscribes to a second wireless network provider that does not have a roaming agreement with the first wireless network provider, can use an unauthenticated wireless device to receive content from a content system of the content provider via a wireless network of the first wireless network provider. In certain embodiments, the unauthenticated wireless device communicates with an orchestration node of the wireless network using encapsulated messages transmitted via a logical tunnel that bypass nodes of the wireless network that would otherwise prevent a network connection from being established between the unauthenticated wireless device and the wireless network.
