Abstract: The present invention provides a monitor system and a display control method thereof. The monitor system comprises: a control module, used for sending human-computer interaction interface information and background picture information to a processing module by means of a same channel; the processing module, used for receiving video image information, processing the video image information, the human-computer interaction interface information and the background picture information, and outputting target image information to a display; and the display, used for displaying the target image information. According to the system, background picture information is stored in the control module, and by means of information transmission and processing between the control module and the processing module, target image information can be displayed on the display, thus achieving display control over the monitor system, without the need to additionally arrange an external device to store background picture information. The problems in the prior art that costs are high, structural design is difficult, and control accuracy is low are solved.
