摘要: In an image forming apparatus, a controller is configured to receive an e-mail stored in a mail server through a network interface, generate identification information corresponding to image data attached to the received e-mail, store, in a storage, the identification information, a transmission source address of the e-mail to which to the image data corresponding to the identification information is attached, and the image data corresponding to the identification information, in an associated manner, cause a printer to print a particular image corresponding to the identification information, identify the identification information in the particular image read by an image reader, retrieve, from the storage, the transmission source address of the e-mail to which the image data corresponding to the identification information identified in the identifying process, and transmit an e-mail addressed to the transmission source address retrieved in the address retrieval step to the mail server.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a housing, a feeding tray capable of being inserted into and pulled out from the housing, a feed roller, and one or more detection units. The feeding tray includes a first accommodation part in which a roll body having a configuration where a sheet-shaped medium is rolled in a roll shape is accommodated and a second accommodation part in which a plurality of sheet-shaped media are accommodated in a state of being stacked. The feed roller feeds a sheet-shaped medium from the feeding tray toward a conveying path. The image forming unit forms an image on a sheet-shaped medium provided in the conveying path. The one or more detection units detect whether a sheet-shaped medium is arranged in a predetermined position in the feeding tray.

摘要: When inspection driving is performed by a liquid ejection head, a signal output circuit outputs a determination signal indicating whether a nozzle is an abnormal nozzle. The inspection driving is driving the liquid ejection head to eject liquid from the nozzle for checking whether the nozzle is the abnormal nozzle. A recovery device performs a recovery operation of discharging liquid from the nozzle. A controller is configured to: in response to receiving a first signal, perform the inspection driving and, in response to determining that the determination signal transmitted from the signal output circuit indicates that the abnormal nozzle exists, store flag information in a memory, the flag information indicating that the recovery operation needs to be performed; and in response to receiving a second signal different from the first signal and determining that the memory stores the flag information, control the recovery device to perform the recovery operation.

摘要: A liquid ejection apparatus includes a liquid ejection head having a plurality of nozzles, a determination circuit, a clock, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine whether the clock is in an on or off state. In response to determining that the clock is in an on state, the controller is configured to perform an inspection process at a first time. In the inspection process, the controller drives the liquid ejection head to eject liquid from a nozzle of the plurality nozzles and receive a determination signal that is output from the determination circuit in response to ejection of liquid from the nozzle of the plurality of nozzles. In response to determining that the clock is in an off state, the controller is configured to perform the inspection process at a predetermined time that is a time after the clock is returned to an on state.

摘要: There is provided a liquid ejection apparatus including: a head; a carriage; a conveyor; a signal generator configured to output a signal, depending on whether or not a plurality of nozzles include an ejection defective nozzle; a maintenance part; and a controller. In a case that the controller determines that the ejection defective nozzle is present, the controller determines, based on a first time and a second time, whether to perform a first ejecting operation after performing a maintenance operation before the ejecting operation, or to perform a second ejecting operation without performing the maintenance operation before the ejecting operation.
