摘要: When a specified image is recorded while ranging over a boundary between a first dot recording range and a second dot recording range, a controller of an image recording apparatus judges whether or not a predetermined condition is fulfilled, the predetermined condition including at least one of a first condition which relates to a duty and a second condition which relates to a positional deviation in a scanning direction of a landing position of a liquid. If the predetermined condition is fulfilled, the dot belonging to a correcting portion is formed by correcting discharge in which the liquid in a discharge amount smaller than a set discharge amount is discharged. If the predetermined condition is not fulfilled, the dot belonging to the correcting portion is formed by ordinary discharge in which the liquid in the set discharge amount is discharged.

摘要: A printing apparatus includes: a print execution section and a controller. The print execution section includes: a printing head having nozzles, an ink having a specified color being discharged from the nozzles; a head driver which drives the printing head to form dots having the specified color on a printing medium by discharging the ink having the specified color from the nozzles; and a movement mechanism which moves the printing medium relative to the printing head. The controller is configured to: obtain object image data; generate, by using the object image data, a plurality of pieces of dot data indicating formation states of the dots having the specified color, for a plurality of pixels; and print a printing image by causing the print execution section to execute discharge of the ink having the specified color and movement of the printing medium by use of the pieces of dot data.

摘要: There is provided an image recording apparatus including a carriage, a head, a velocity sensor, and a controller. The controller obtains velocity data of the carriage from the velocity sensor, determines a threshold value based on the velocity data, records an image on a recording medium, and suspends a recording pass when the controller has determined that a velocity indicated by the velocity data is lower than a velocity corresponding to the threshold value. The controller can execute a first recording mode and a second recording mode in which the velocity of the carriage is faster than that of the first recording mode. The velocity data for the first recording mode is obtained in a warm-up time after a recording command is received until recording of the image is started. The velocity data for the second recording mode is obtained in other time other than the warm-up time.

摘要: An image forming apparatus may include a mechanism for forming a corrugated shape in a sheet to be conveyed. The mechanism may include various components include one or more pressing portions, one or more ribs, one or more discharge rollers, a switching mechanism and the like. In one arrangement, ribs and pressing portions configured to create the corrugated shape may be disposed at various locations upstream or downstream of the platen, recording portion and/or nozzles thereof. In one example, pressing portions may be disposed both upstream and downstream of the nozzles of the recording portion to maintain a corrugated shape in the conveyed sheet. Various other configurations may be used.

摘要: An electronic device is configured to acquire image data containing a test pattern including first and second patterns intersecting with each other. Pixels corresponding to the test pattern are determined by comparing brightness of each pixel with a threshold value, and widths of an overlapped image of the first and second patterns in an orthogonal direction at a plurality of different positions in the reference direction are calculated. Intersecting positions of the first pattern and the second pattern in the test pattern is detected based on a distribution of widths at the plurality of different positions. The test pattern has a model pattern having a set width in the orthogonal direction separate from the first and second patterns. The pixels corresponding to the test pattern are determined based on a threshold value, and widths at the plurality of positions of the overlapped image in the reference direction are calculated.

摘要: An ink-jet recording apparatus includes: an image recorder; a first supporter including support ribs extending to positions under the image recorder; an ink receiver disposed downstream of the support ribs; first and second roller pairs disposed downstream of the first supporter; a guide; and a protrusion disposed between the ink receiver and the first roller pair and having an upper end located below upper ends of the support ribs and above a first imaginary line connecting between a nip position of the first roller pair and a downstream end of the ink receiver. A distance between an upstream end of the ink receiver and a nip position of the second roller pair is less than a length of a first-size sheet and greater than a length of a second-size sheet. The protrusion is disposed, in a widthwise direction, in a region through which the second-size sheet is conveyed.
