    Abstract: A domestic appliance includes: a treatment chamber that can be closed by a pivotable door; at least one camera arranged in the door for recording images from the treatment chamber when the door is open; and a door movement sensor for detecting values of at least one parameter of a door movement. The door movement sensor has at least one inertial sensor. At least one camera and the at least one inertial sensor are integrated in a camera/sensor module which is arranged in the door. The camera/sensor module has a communication device, at least for outputting image data from the camera of the camera/sensor module. The domestic appliance is configured to trigger at least one device function upon the detection of at least one trigger value. The invention is particularly suited for cooling devices, particularly refrigerators.

    Abstract: A domestic refrigeration appliance includes a thermally insulated inner container bounding a coolable interior for food. A refrigeration device cools the interior, a door leaf opens and closes the interior, a thermally insulated wall portion has a first surface facing the interior, a second surface facing away from the interior and an opening. An interior lighting configuration at least partially illuminates the interior when the door leaf is open. The lighting configuration includes at least one lamp and a shell-like housing forming a backing part fastened on the second surface of the wall portion near a periphery of the opening and bounding a cavity which is open towards the opening. The wall portion partially overlaps the cavity forming a niche in which the at least one lamp is disposed, and the wall portion, near the niche, completely overlaps the at least one lamp.

    Abstract: A method serves for determining an object weight of an object that is put on a weighing zone, which has a plurality of weighing plates arranged in a grid pattern, of a household refrigerator. The respective weights are measured by the weighing plates and an image is taken of the weighing zone. From the image, respective percentages of support surfaces of the object stored on the weighing zone in relation to the individual weighing plates are determined. From the weights measured at the weighing plates and the proportions of the support surfaces the object weight of the respective object is determined, and advantageously the determined object weight of the object is stored in a database. A refrigerating device has a household refrigerator with a refrigerating compartment having a weighing zone with a plurality of weighing plates arranged in a grid pattern. The refrigerating device is intended for performing the method.

    Abstract: A domestic appliance has a heat-insulated housing with two lateral walls, a rear wall, and a cover. The housing delimits a coolable interior for storing food. The appliance has a refrigerating device for cooling the coolable interior, at least one pivotally mounted door leaf for opening and closing the coolable interior, a drawer which can be at least partly pulled out of the coolable interior when the door leaf is open, and a digital camera in or on the housing in order to produce an image of the drawer at least partly pulled out of the coolable interior when the door leaf is open. The digital camera is arranged in or on the cover or in an upper region in or on one of the lateral walls. The digital camera faces diagonally downwards and away from the rear wall at an angle of at least 20° relative to the vertical.

    Abstract: A domestic refrigeration appliance includes a heat-insulated inner container delimiting a coolable interior for foodstuffs, a refrigeration device cooling the interior, a door leaf articulated by hinges for opening and closing the interior and an opening aid. At least one hinge is self-closing for automatically closing the door leaf up to a first opening angle. The opening aid includes an actuator and a tappet moving back and forth by the actuator between first and second positions. The opening aid enables the door leaf to be closed if the tappet is in the first position, to move the tappet from the first to the second position to push open the closed door leaf using the tappet up to a second opening angle smaller than the first opening angle, and to automatically move the tappet into the first position immediately or with a time delay after reaching the second position.
