Abstract: A domestic appliance, which may be a cooling device, such as a refrigerator, includes: a treatment chamber that can be closed by a pivotable door; at least one camera arranged in the door for recording images from the treatment chamber when the door is open; and a door movement sensor for detecting values of at least one parameter of a door movement. The door movement sensor has at least one inertial sensor. At least one camera and the at least one inertial sensor are integrated in a camera/sensor module which is arranged in the door. The camera/sensor module has a communication device, at least for outputting image data from the camera of the camera/sensor module. The domestic appliance is configured to trigger at least one device function upon the detection of at least one trigger value.

Abstract: A domestic appliance has a housing, a transceiver unit and an electrically non-conductive covering. The housing delimits an interior accessible via a housing opening and has a frame which edges the housing opening. The transceiver unit contains an antenna for wirelessly receiving and transmitting signals. The domestic appliance has a door leaf, which is mounted pivotably relative to the housing and is provided to open and close the interior, or a drawer, which can be pulled partially out of the interior and has a front panel which closes the interior when in the pushed-in state. The housing, the door leaf or the front panel of the drawer has a cavity which is accessible via an opening in the housing, in the door leaf or in the front panel and inside of which the transceiver unit with the entire antenna is arranged. The electrically non-conductive covering covers the opening completely.

Abstract: A household appliance includes a camera with a housing and a first electrical plug connector in the housing. A reinforcement part separate from the camera is configured for direct connection to the housing through a cutout in a wall of the appliance such that the housing and the reinforcement part are disposed on opposite sides of the wall. The reinforcement part has a second electrical plug connector for connection to the first electrical plug connector. The second plug connector is a separate component provided on the reinforcement part by a snap-fit connection and/or in the mounted state the first electrical plug connector is snap-fitted to the second electrical plug connector by a snap-fit connection and/or the housing of the camera is connected in the mounted final state to the reinforcement part by a screw connection. A mounting method for the camera is also provided.

Abstract: A domestic appliance has a heat-insulated housing with two lateral walls, a rear wall, and a cover. The housing delimits a coolable interior for storing food. The appliance has a refrigerating device for cooling the coolable interior, at least one pivotally mounted door leaf for opening and closing the coolable interior, a drawer which can be at least partly pulled out of the coolable interior when the door leaf is open, and a digital camera in or on the housing in order to produce an image of the drawer at least partly pulled out of the coolable interior when the door leaf is open. The digital camera is arranged in or on the cover or in an upper region in or on one of the lateral walls. The digital camera faces diagonally downwards and away from the rear wall at an angle of at least 20° relative to the vertical.
