摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for channelization of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) networks in a wireless network are disclosed. An apparatus of an of a next generation vehicle to everything (V2X) (NGV) wireless device includes processing circuitry configured to: encode a management frame, the management frame including an indication of resource units (RUs) for use by NGV stations during transmission opportunities (TXOPs) where the RUs part of a channel. The processing circuitry is further configured to configure the NGV wireless device to transmit the management frame on the channel and configure the NGV wireless device to transmit a short sequence frame (SF) at a start of each TXOP of the TXOPs. An apparatus for V2X networks is disclosed that is configured to transmit a packet in center tones of a channel and to simultaneously transmit parity or redundancy information for the packet on tones on either side of the center tones.

The apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to: gain access to a first 10 MHz channel and to a second 10 MHz channel, and encode a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission over a bonded channel, the bonded channel comprising the first 10 MHz channel and the second 10 MHz channel, where the PPDU is encoded to comprise a legacy preamble portion to be transmitted on the first 10 MHz channel and a repeated legacy preamble portion to be transmitted on the second 10 MHz channel, the PPDU further including a non-legacy portion, the non-legacy portion comprising a non-legacy signal field indicating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used to encode a data portion of the non-legacy portion, the data portion to be transmitted on the bonded channel.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced bandwidth selection for wireless devices. A device may generate a request frame with at least one of a first indication of a bandwidth for which a second device is to measure a first noise level or a second indication of a resource unit for which the second device is to measure a second noise level. The device may send the request frame to the second device. The device may identify a response frame received from the second device, the response frame having a third indication of the first noise level or the second noise level and a fourth indication of the bandwidth or the resource unit. The device may determine, based on the first noise level or the second noise level, a parameter associated with a subsequent frame to send to the second device.

摘要: Embodiments of a Next Generation Vehicle-to-Everything (NGV) station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The NGV STA may encode a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) in accordance with an enhanced PHY layer protocol. The PPDU may be encoded for transmission in a dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) frequency band. The NGV STA may encode the PPDU to include a preamble, one or more data portions, and one or more midambles. The one or more midambles may occur within the PPDU after the preamble and after at least one of the data portions. The NGV STA may encode a preamble that includes an NGV SIG-A field that indicates: whether the PPDU includes the one or more midambles, and a periodicity of the one or more midambles.

The STA may be included in a first plurality of STAs affiliated with a first multi-link logical entity (MLLE). A plurality of links may be established between the first MLLE and a second MLLE, wherein the second MLLE may be affiliated with a second plurality of STAs. The STA may receive a first subset of a sequence of MAC protocol data units (MPDUs). A second subset of the sequence of MPDUs may be transmitted by another STA of the first plurality of STAs. The STA may transmit a block acknowledgement (BA) frame that includes: a number of BA bitmaps, configurable to values greater than or equal to one; and BA control information for each of the BA bitmaps.

The device may perform a clear channel assessment (CCA) measurement on a portion of a second operating channel, wherein the portion shares a contiguous edge with a first operating channel that is adjacent to the second operating channel. The device may detect an energy on the portion of the second operating channel based on the CCA measurement. The device may compare the detected energy to an energy detection (ED) threshold. In some cases, the NGV STA may encode the PPDU in accordance with an NGV enhanced physical (PHY) layer protocol, and includes usage of a mid-amble, space-time block coding (STBC), or low-density parity check (LDPC) coding. In other cases, the NGV STA may encode the PPDU in accordance with a legacy PHY layer protocol that is compatible with the legacy STAs, and excludes usage of the mid-amble, the STBC, and the LDCP coding.

The device may identify a first control frame received from an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) on the second channel. The device may cause to send a second control frame to the AP MLD on the second channel. The device may configure back to a single N×N TX/RX radio to receive a data frame.
