摘要： The invention provides a high-definition video conference system and method. The high-definition video conference system, according to the invention, uses an encoding module for compressing a plurality of usable digital signals under a high-definition compression standard into a plurality of compressed digital signals, and an instant-messaging application for transmitting the compressed digitals to a second terminal apparatus. The second terminal apparatus uses a decoding module for decompressing the plurality of compressed digital signals under the high-definition compression standard to obtain a plurality of image signals, and a displaying module for displaying the image signals. Therefore, the high-definition video conference system of the invention can achieve high-definition video conference applications even under limited hardware performance and network transmission bandwidth.

The three-party video conference system, according to the invention, uses a second terminal apparatus, which can transmit data in different protocols for receiving and transmitting the compressed digital signals transmitted from a first terminal apparatus and a third terminal apparatus. Therefore, even though the first terminal apparatus and the third terminal apparatus can not transmit compressed digital signals to each other with the same protocol, the user still can achieve three-party video conferencing communication with the three-party video conference system.

Each of the peripheral devices is provided with an IP address, which facilitates direct communication of the users with the peripheral devices and permits direct communication with the devices over the Internet. Data packets destined for the IP address of a peripheral device are router through the local interface, which converts the data utilizing compatible communication protocols for the target peripheral device.

摘要： A video conference system built in an internet protocol (IP) network is provided. The system has: a multimedia capturing unit configured to photograph and output a first video signal; a DECT telephone configured to receive sounds and output a first audio signal; and a video conference terminal apparatus, including: an audio processing unit is an audio codec; a video processing unit is an video codec; and a network processing unit for transmitting a first network packet consisting of first audio/video streams generated by the audio/video processing units to the IP network, wherein the network processing unit receives a second network packet consisting of second audio/video streams from the IP network, wherein the second audio/video streams are decoded by the audio/video processing units, respectively, to generate second audio/video signals, which are displayed on the DECT telephone and a display apparatus, respectively.

摘要： A system of multimodality-appended rich media comments is provided. The system includes a server and an electronic device. The electronic device includes a network access module, at least one sensor and a processing unit. The network access module communicates with the server. The at least one sensor senses a user's behavior in a recording mode to obtain a sensing data. The processing unit performs an application to provide a source medium, wherein a rich media comment function of the application can be activated to provide multiple interactive objects for selection and then trigger the recording mode. The application uploads the sensing data to the server after the recording mode finishes. The server analyzes the sensing data and accordingly modifies the selected interactive object, combines the source medium with the modified interactive object into a rendered medium, and then delivers the rendered medium to the application.
