Abstract: Systems and methods are provided an include generating a depth map by performing depth estimation on an image having at least one wall, generating a first edge map that includes a first set of edge lines outlining the at least one wall by performing edge detection on the image, generating a second edge map that includes a second set of edge lines by performing edge detection on the depth map, generating a third edge map by thinning a width of each edge line in the first set of edge lines, generating a fourth edge map by performing a skeletonization function on the depth map, generating a final edge map based on the third edge map and the fourth edge map, generating a colorized image by applying color to the final edge map to paint the at least one wall, and displaying the colorized image on a display.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a dominant color in a digital image are provided and include dividing a digital image into a first and second set of pixels and selecting pixels from the first and second sets based on first and second sample rates, respectively, the first set of pixels being closer to the center of the image than the second set and the first sample rate being greater than the second sample rate. A chroma and/or lightness filter is applied to the selected pixels. The remaining pixels after filtering are grouped based on hue, chroma, and lightness. A dominant color for the digital image is determined based on a color associated with the that has the greatest number of pixels.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a dominant color in a digital image are provided and include dividing pixels of the digital image into pixel groups, with pixels in a first pixel group being closer to a center of the digital image than pixels in a second pixel group. Pixels in the first and second pixel groups having a chroma value greater than a predetermined chroma value threshold and a lightness greater than a low brightness threshold and less than a high brightness threshold are analyzed using a first sample rate for the first pixel group and a second sample rate for the second group. The first sample rate is greater than the second sample rate. A dominant color for the digital image is determined based on the analyzed pixels in the first and second pixel groups.

Abstract: A method for enabling a user to paint an image uploaded to a device is provided. The method includes uploading an image to the device, performing a depth estimation on the image to generate a depth map, and performing an edge detection on the image to generate a first edge map. The method also includes performing the edge detection on the depth map to generate a second edge map, performing a skeletonization function on the first edge map to generate a third edge map, and performing the skeletonization function on the depth map to generate a fourth edge map. The method also includes generating a final edge map using the third edge map and the fourth edge map, generating a colorized image by applying color to the final edge map to paint at least one wall of a scene, and displaying the colorized image on a display of the device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided and include a computer terminal located at a flooring store that receives a measured color of a flooring product. A server receives paint product catalog information from a computer system located at a coating manufacturer facility, determines paint colors that coordinate with the flooring product based on the paint product catalog information, and runs a paint product ordering application that interacts with a web browser of the computer terminal. Abstract: Systems and methods for color selection are provided and include a non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, configure the computing device to receive an image and determine a dominant color for the image by dividing the image into pixel groups, analyzing pixels in each of the pixel groups at different sample rates based on how close the pixel group is to the center of the image with pixel groups closer to the center of the image having a higher sample rate, and determining the dominant color for the image based on the analyzed pixels in each of the pixel groups. The instructions further configure the computing device to determine a closest matching paint color for the dominant color for the image and display a color name or a color code associated with the closest matching paint color for the dominant color.
