    摘要: A tool or a part thereof which has at least one tool body (7, 8) and one functional part (9) is cast in one united piece with at least two different casting materials (18, 20) of different material compositions, whereby the different parts of tool possess different material properties. Between the different tool parts, there is a clear interface in the material composition, but an intermingled transitional zone (19) of different material compositions is possible. In a method of manufacturing the tool, or a part thereof, casting material of at least two different material compositions is supplied to different parts (7, 8, 9, respectively) of the tool. The casting materials are kept separate and discrete from one another and, after the casting, there is thus obtained a tool possessing different material properties in different parts (7, 8; 9) of the tool.

    摘要: A composite cast tool is cast in one continuous piece, partly of steel and partly of grey iron, so that an interconnection zone is formed between the steel and the grey iron. The steel portion forms the working component of the tool, for example a cutting edge, and the grey iron portion forms the body component of the tool. The steel portion and the grey iron portion have projections or walls extending towards one another. The interconnection zone is located in the region of union between these walls and is planar.

    摘要: A method in a QAM receiver (100) for performing timing recovery. The QAM receiver (100) is configured to receive a sequence of symbols. Each symbol is represented by a respective IQ pair comprising a respective inphase component I and a respective quadrature component Q. The QAM receiver (100) samples the respective I component and the respective Q component with a relative timing offset between the sampling of the respective I component and the respective Q component. The QAM receiver (100) establishes a first value associated to a quality of the I component samples, and a second value associated to a quality of the Q component samples, and compares the first value and second value to determine if the sampling timing should be advanced or delayed to improve the sample quality. The QAM receiver (100) adjusts subsequent sampling by advancing or delaying a sampling timing based on the comparison.

    摘要: A method of one-piece casting of a tool with a working component of steel and a body of grey iron, and an interconnection zone therebetween is carried out in a single mould which is kept closed and unchanged during the casting. The steel is cast first from beneath and upwards, whereafter a pause is made. The casting of the grey iron is only carried out when the temperature of the steel in the intended interconnection zone has fallen to a temperature corresponding to the liquidus temperature of the steel minus approx. 30° to 150° C.

A dividing plane between the sections is planar and horizontal and located at the interconnection zone. A duct leads from the first section to an accommodation space for possible surplus of steel. In a method for one piece casting of a tool, which has a working component of steel and a body of grey iron with an interconnection zone therebetween, the steel is cast in a first mould cavity section and the grey iron in a second mould cavity section. A dividing plane between the mould cavity sections is planar and horizontal. An accommodation space for surplus of steel is provided to permit steel to flow from the first mould cavity section at the level of the dividing plane into the accommodation space.
