摘要: A display apparatus for a vehicle includes: a shooting element for shooting a predetermined area around the vehicle to obtain a shot image around the vehicle; an image conversion element for converting coordinates of the shot image to generate a mirror conversion image, wherein the mirror conversion image provides a first image of a first area around the vehicle reflected on an in-vehicle mirror, the first image being viewed from a passenger of the vehicle, and wherein the passenger sits down on a predetermined seat of the vehicle; and a display element for displaying the mirror conversion image.

摘要: An image processor outputs an image containing relatively much information of a central area in the horizontal direction. A mask composed of an upper mask and a lower mask is superimposed on the image. The upper mask is concave on the lower side thereof and disposed along the upper side of the image. The lower mask is concave on the upper side thereof and disposed along the lower side of the image. When the image is masked with this mask, the peripheral portion of the image that is prone to be distorted becomes invisible. Therefore, discomfort a user feels because of distortion can be reduced. In addition, the user can view the image with the much information of the central area of the image in the horizontal direction.

摘要: A vehicle surrounding monitoring device includes an image display control section and a guide line overlapping section. The image display control section makes a view image based on a shot image of a surrounding of a vehicle and displays the view image on a display device. The guide line overlapping section overlaps a guide line for assisting a forward parking of the vehicle on the view image. The guide line includes a front end guide line extending from a first position to a second position. The first position is a position obtained by rotationally transferring a position of a rotational outer front end of the vehicle by 90 degrees around a rotational center of the vehicle. The second position is located at a distance of a width of the vehicle from the first position toward a rear in a front-rear direction of the vehicle.
