摘要: A vehicular camera system includes a camera module having an imager assembly, a main circuit board and a camera housing. The imager assembly includes (i) an imager disposed on an imager circuit board and (ii) a lens holder having a lens assembly that includes a lens barrel accommodating a lens. The imager assembly includes a flexible ribbon cable that electrically connects to an electrical connector at a multilayered PCB of the main circuit board. The camera housing includes an upper cover and a lower cover and includes a forward portion and a rearward portion. The main circuit board is accommodated within the forward and rearward portions, and the imager is disposed at the rearward portion and is not disposed at the forward portion of the camera housing. The lens holder is attached at the upper cover of the camera housing.

摘要: Vehicles and methods for augmenting rearview displays for vehicles are provided. An exemplary method is provided for augmenting a rearview display for a vehicle having a gate moveable between a closed configuration and an opened configuration. The method includes collecting dynamic pixel images of an area behind the vehicle using a camera connected to the vehicle. Further, the method includes, in response to a command, displaying graphical overlays to the collected dynamic pixel images on a display screen, via a processor, wherein the graphical overlays depict an outline of the gate and/or projected path of the gate in the opened configuration.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for operating a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, wherein the vehicle comprises at least one infotainment system with at least one first display region. The vehicle also comprises at least one instrument cluster with at least one second display region. The infotainment system comprises a software component, wherein information relating to driver assistance systems can be shown in the first display region of the infotainment system. To update the infotainment system while maintaining a driving operation of the vehicle simultaneously, it is provided that the information relating to the driver assistance systems is shown in the second display region of the instrument cluster when the software component of the infotainment system is being updated.

The trailer includes a left wheel, a right wheel, an axle, a left brake device coupled to the left wheel, and a right brake device coupled to the right wheel. The methods and systems receive a driver command for a target path for the trailer, determine a left braking torque for the left wheel and a right braking torque for the right wheel based on the target path so as to provide for differential braking, and apply, via the left brake device and the right brake device, the left braking torque and the right braking torque to assist maneuvering of the trailer along the target path.

摘要: A vehicle intent indication system includes a sensor, a display, and a controller. The sensor is configured to detect an object in an operating environment of a vehicle. The display is configured to display a pattern visible to a person in the operating environment of the vehicle. The display includes light emitting components configured to be selectively illuminated to display the pattern. The controller is configured to receive information from the sensor indicating that the object has been detected in the operating environment and to cause the light emitting components to be selectively illuminated to display the pattern in response to receiving the information from the sensor. The pattern in configured to inform the person in the operating environment of the vehicle of an intent of the vehicle to perform a driving maneuver.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and viewing exterior of the vehicle. The vehicular vision system, responsive to detecting an object present exterior of the vehicle via processing of image data captured by the camera, determines location of the detected object relative to the vehicle. The vehicular vision system displays video images derived from the captured image data on a video display. The vehicular vision system generates a three-dimensional (3D) icon that includes a front face and a rear face opposing the front face with a length dimension between the faces. The 3D icon overlays the detected object and the front face faces toward a representation of the vehicle. Responsive to a chance in location of the object relative to the vehicle, the system adjusts the length dimension.
