Abstract: The disclosure provides a non-naturally occurring BAFF-R glycoprotein having a deletion in the extracellular domain which results in an altered O-linked glycosylation pattern. Abstract: A method of treating a mammal for a condition associated with undesired cell proliferation comprising administering to said mammal an effective amount of a TACI reagent, wherein said reagent extends mean survival time of said mammal by about 10% or more as compared to the absence of administering the TACI reagent.
