摘要: A personal vaporizer has a vaporizer case defining a vaporizer interior, a vaporization chamber within the vaporizer interior, an air flow passage from one or more air intake openings in the case to the vaporization chamber, a vaporization mixture flow passage extending from the vaporization chamber to an exit port, and a heating arrangement having at least one heating element disposed within the vaporization chamber. The heating arrangement is connected to a power source for selective activation by a user. A first fluid reservoir is configured for retaining a first vaporizable fluid within a first reservoir interior and a second fluid reservoir is configured for retaining a second vaporizable fluid within a second reservoir interior. A fluid transport arrangement is configured for transporting the first and second vaporizable fluids from the first and second fluid reservoirs into the vaporization chamber.

摘要: A vaporizer heating element assembly has a case structure with a plurality of walls collectively defining a case interior. An upper wall has an access opening, a left wall has a reservoir window, and a lower wall has a vaporization window. A thin plate heating element formed from an electrically conductive material is positioned within the case structure parallel to the lower wall and adjacent the vaporization window. A liquid transport structure is configured for transporting liquid by capillary action from a liquid intake surface to a liquid outflow surface and is disposed within the case interior so that the liquid intake surface is adjacent the reservoir window and the liquid outflow surface is adjacent or in contact with the thin plate heating element. The heating element assembly also has an access closure sized and configured to seal the access opening.

摘要: A composite wick is provided for use in a micro-vaporizer having a fluid reservoir and a heating element. The composite wick comprises a wick body positionable so that its upstream surface is in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir and the downstream surface is disposed in opposition to a surface of the heating element. The wick body comprises at least one base wick structure having a plurality of tortuous passages that collectively provide a capillary effect to draw fluid from the reservoir and transport it toward the downstream surface. The wick body further comprises an active material positioned within the wick body so that vaporizable fluid drawn through the wick body contacts and interacts with the active material. The active material is selected to impart a desired characteristic to the vaporizable fluid.

摘要: A micro-vaporizer has an annular main body, a vaporization chamber, and a liquid delivery arrangement. The liquid delivery arrangement is configured for sequential delivery of a plurality of vaporizable liquids to the vaporization chamber. The liquid delivery arrangement has an annular wick having an internal wick surface defining at least a portion of the vaporization chamber. The liquid delivery arrangement also comprises a liquid reservoir surrounding the wick. The liquid reservoir is configured for storage of at least one vaporizable liquid therein and is in fluid communication with the wick. A heating element is positioned within the vaporization chamber for heating and vaporizing vaporizable liquid at or near the internal wick surface.

摘要: A vaporizer cartridge has a cartridge case defining a case interior and being sized and configured for mating with a cartridge receiver. A flow passage within the case interior extends from a cartridge air inlet to a mouthpiece exit port. The vaporizer cartridge has a liquid reservoir, a resistive heating element, and a liquid transport structure. The resistive heating element has a central heating portion in electrical communication with two electrical contact tabs. The central heating portion is positioned adjacent the flow passage. The contact tabs extend outside the cartridge case and are configured for engagement by electrical contacts of the cartridge receiver when the cartridge case is mated to the cartridge receiver. The fluid transport structure has an intake surface and an outflow surface adjacent or in contact with the heating element and is configured for transfer of liquid from the reservoir to the outflow surface.
