Abstract: A medical device that includes a shaft defining a lumen and a distal portion, the distal portion defining a side opening in fluid communication with the lumen. The medical device includes a device coupled to the distal portion of the shaft and overlying the side opening. The device includes an expandable member configured to expand laterally outward from a collapsed state to an expanded state, and configured to permit fluid to flow through the expandable member and into the side opening. The device includes a constricting device positioned in contact with the expandable member and configured to move relative to the expandable member from a first position to a second position. The expandable member is in the collapsed state when the constricting device is in the first position and the expandable member is in the expanded state when the constricting device is in the second position.
