Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for removing material (e.g., clot) from within a body, including inverting thrombectomy apparatuses. These methods and apparatuses may include methods and apparatuses for reusing portion of the devices, method and apparatuses for loading and reloading the inverting thrombectomy apparatuses, and methods and apparatuses for improving and enhancing the ability of the inverting thrombectomy apparatuses to remove clot. In particular, described herein are expandable scraper devices that may be used in conjunction with the inverting thrombectomy apparatuses descried herein, or on their own.

Abstract: Medical devices and methods for using medical devices are disclosed. An example method of forming an expandable thrombectomy device includes disposing a scraping member along a mandrel, the scraping member including a proximal end region, a distal end region and a medial region positioned between the proximal end region and the distal end region. The method also includes constraining the proximal end region of the scraping member, constraining the distal end region of the scraping member and heat setting the scraping member.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for retaining a catheter are disclosed. In particular, described herein are apparatuses (e.g., introducer lock apparatuses, devices and systems including them) and methods for securing a catheter relative to an introducer sheath. In particular these apparatuses and method may secure an outer catheter of a mechanical thrombectomy apparatus to prevent the outer catheter from moving proximally when an inner member within the outer catheter is pulled proximally, applying a compression force that would otherwise drive the outer catheter proximally.
