Abstract: In an aspect, a grain cart having an access door is provided. The grain cart can have a storage hopper supported on a frame and defining an interior space. The storage hopper having an upper wall; and, a lower wall extending downwards and angled inwards with an opening passing through the lower wall. The access door is sized to cover the opening and opens into the interior space. A ladder assembly is attached to the lower wall below the opening and foldable between an extended position to provide access to the opening and the access door and a retracted position.

Abstract: A grain cart is provided with an internal frame and a method of constructing a grain cart with an internal frame is provided. The grain cart can have a support frame, ground wheels, a hitch assembly, and a storage hopper supported on the support frame. The storage hopper can have a spine member running along the center portion, corresponding pairs of rib members connected at intervals along the spine member and a plurality of panels connected between adjacent rib members. The storage hopper can be constructed by connecting a plurality of rib members to a spine member, connecting a cross brace across corresponding pairs of rib members, inserting panels between adjacent rib members, and connecting the panels to rib members.
