摘要: A unitary (one-piece) construction of an electric vehicle chassis is provided having at least one s-bend aft of the front axle to allow battery packs to mount on isolators inside of the frame rails. The overall width of the frame (at the widest) is 4-6″ wider as compared to traditional (non-ev) vehicles. This increased width is provided for to accommodate the battery packs required for operation of the electric vehicle. The s-bend allows for front wheel steering angles greater than if rails were straight. In some embodiments, a second s-bend directs the frame again outwards to accommodate additional components and to increase strength of the overall frame. The present wide and s-bend configuration allows for mounting of rear springs underneath of the frame rails for extra support and more efficient and improved packaging. The cross member further allows for front spring mounting to the frame.

摘要: A vehicle-body front structure includes front side frames in a pair, sub-frames in a pair, lower arms, and action members. Each sub-frames is provided with first and second coupling portions, an action-member fixation portion, and a recess. The coupling portions rotatably fix a corresponding one of the lower arms. The action-member fixation portion is provided between the coupling portions and rotatably fixes a corresponding one of the action members on the vehicle upper side of each sub-frame. The recess is fitted to the corresponding action member. The fixation portion of each action member is fitted to the recess of the corresponding one of the sub-frames. Each action member is fixed at the action-member fixation portion and the second coupling portion to the corresponding sub-frame and is fixed at the second coupling portion to the corresponding sub-frame by being fastened together with the corresponding lower arm.

摘要: A lightweight vehicle includes a pair of rear wheel assemblies, one or more front wheel assemblies, a universal assembly platform, and forward facing seating. The universal assembly platform includes a main vehicle chassis, a front suspension system coupled to the main vehicle chassis and to which the one or more front wheel assemblies is mounted, and a rear suspension system coupled to the main vehicle chassis and to which the pair of rear wheel assemblies is mounted. A front distal end of the one or more front wheel assemblies is longitudinally forward of a front end of the main vehicle chassis. The forward facing seating is mounted to the main vehicle chassis such that a portion of a seat bottom of the forward facing seating is located longitudinally rearward of an axis extending through a center of the pair of rear wheel assemblies.

摘要: An electric truck frame of an electric truck driven by electric power supplied from a battery includes a pair of side rails supporting a cab that are coupled by a plurality of cross members. The battery is disposed between the pair of side rails at a rear side of the cab. The pair of side rails include a plurality of elastic support sections that elastically support both ends of the battery in an electric truck width direction in a battery region in which the battery is disposed between the pair of side rails. The plurality of cross members are prohibited from being placed in the battery region.

摘要: A vehicle mounted AC generator system having an AC generator mounted driven by the vehicle's power-take off having a secure control system. The secure control system integrates with the AC generator, the power-take off and the vehicle to enable the generator to be operated by the vehicle's engine while the cab or passenger compartment of the vehicle remains secured, thereby preventing the potential for theft or accidental input which may create a dangerous condition. The secure control system also provides monitoring of the generator's operation and emergency stop capability to shut down both the generator and the vehicle's engine in the event required.

摘要: An interlocking beam assembly for a frame assembly of a vehicle that includes an upper beam and a lower beam. The upper beam includes an upper hollow section integrally formed with a lower hollow section and a common wall shared by the upper and lower hollow sections. A notch is disposed in the lower hollow section of the upper beam at a select portion along a length of the upper beam. The notch is defined at cut edges along a bottom wall and side walls of the lower hollow section. A lower beam is configured to extend substantially perpendicular to the upper beam and attach in the notch in the upper beam between the cut edges of the side walls in a manner that bridges load paths across the notch in the upper beam.
