摘要: Cationic polymers and methods for using the same are provided. The method can include contacting an aqueous medium with a cationic polymer. The cationic polymer can include a polymer formed by reacting an aldehyde, and optionally an aldehyde-reactive compound, in the presence of a sufficient amount of guanidine to provide the polymer with a net cationic charge.

摘要: An emulsion of pitch in water preferably characterized by having a lower level of tack on drying by virtue of using as the emulsifying agent a fatty acid, a chemically modified fatty acid, a rosin acid, a chemically modified rosin acid, or combinations thereof, especially a tall oil fatty acid, or a chemically modified tall oil fatty acid, where the pitch emulsion is useful for reducing the development of fugitive dust in a dust-forming material.
