摘要： A simple and highly efficient method for cloning cDNAs from mammalian expression libraries based on transient expression in mammalian host cells has been discovered. Novel expression vectors allowing highly efficient construction of mammalian cDNA libraries are disclosed. The cloning method of the invention which has been used to clone genes for cell surface antigens of human lymphocytes, has general application in gene cloning. Cell surface antigens cloned according to the present invention have been purified, and the nucleotide and amino acid sequences determined. These antigens have diagnostic and therapeutic utility in immune-mediated infections in mammals, including humans.

摘要： The present invention relates to a magnetic device comprising a housing with multiple compartments and an adjustable fastener. The housing includes a first compartment bordered by a first opening and a flange, a second compartment bordered by a second opening, and a third compartment adjacent to a second wall. The adjustable fastener is retained in the first compartment and includes a plate with a recess and a protruding structure with a receiving chamber. The protruding structure is partially retained in the second compartment and has a track. The device further includes a retaining structure with a compartment and a rod with a guide rail that engages with the track of the protruding structure. Additionally, one or more magnets are retained in the compartment of the retaining structure. The magnetic device provides adjustable and secure magnetic attachment for various applications.

It has an artificial nail having a surface simulating a nail, and having a first and a second post extending away from the surface. The first post and the second post fit into the first hole and into the second hole, respectively, in a friction fit, and the first post and the second post extend into the channel. A bar slidably mounts in the channel. The bar has at least four surfaces, two shaped to not contact the first post or the second post, and two having an incline that contacts individual posts increasing pressure as the bar slides in a direction in the channel. The bar also includes a lever.

A networking system can comprise a server and various instances of a software agent, each agent being installed on a computing device participating in a virtual computing cloud. The server can maintain account setting for a user, wherein the settings can indicate which files on indicated computing devices are included in the virtual computing cloud. The networking system can selectively synchronize data between the computing devices automatically and in a secure manner, and can transmit data in real time to simulate local storage when synchronization of certain files is inappropriate in light of file incompatibility. As a result, the networking system can provide the user with a seamless, automatic system and method for accessing a total computing environment.

摘要： An automatic dispenser that is operated by pressure conveying a fluid from a reservoir. The system includes a reservoir having an inlet and an outlet. A pump is disposed in fluid communication with the reservoir. A first conduit is in fluid communication with the inlet to the reservoir and the pump. A second conduit is in fluid communication with the outlet of the reservoir. While the reservoir is being pressurized, a valve in the second conduit is closed. After the reservoir is pressurized, the valve is opened and the fluid in the reservoir is conveyed through the second conduit. The fluid is typically gravity fed from the second conduit to a fixture such as a urinal or toilet.
