摘要： A method for detecting the presence of small mounts of contaminant DNA, present in an amount of at least about 0.1 picogram of DNA, in a protein product produced by recombinant DNA technology. The method comprises using oligonucleotides with sequences directed to those of repetitive host cell line DNA sequences, as primers in a PCR reaction. Also disclosed are kits for the detection of small amounts of contaminant DNA in a protein product.
