    摘要: An optical sheet includes a base layer, a light-condensing layer and a plurality of light-reflecting portions. The light-condensing layer includes a plurality of light-condensing portions formed on a second surface of the base layer along a first direction extending from a first side surface to a second side surface perpendicular to the first side surface. The light-condensing portions extended in a second direction crossing the first direction at an angle with respect to the side surface. The light-reflecting portions are formed in the first surface along the second direction and corresponding to a plurality of recesses where the light-condensing portions meet each other. The center of the light-reflecting portion is off set from the recesses along the first direction.

    摘要: A backlight assembly and a display apparatus having the backlight assembly are disclosed. A diffusion plate is provided above a plurality of lamps. Diffusion patterns that cause contrast inversion and diffusion patterns that do not cause contrast inversion are arranged on a surface of a diffusion plate, in an alternating manner along a longitudinal direction of the lamps. Thus, a brightness difference between a first area in which the lamps are positioned and a second area between two adjacent lamps is reduced, thereby improving a brightness uniformity of light from the backlight assembly.

The first protrusion patterns are formed on a left portion of an upper surface of the base plate with respect to a central line of the upper surface. The first protrusion patterns have a cross-section of a trapezoidal shape which has a top and a bottom parallel with each other and first and second inclined sides inclined at different angles with respect to the bottom side. The second protrusion patterns are formed on a right portion of the upper surface with respect to the central line. A cross-section of the second protrusion patterns have the trapezoidal shape and disposed substantially symmetrical to the first protrusion patterns with respect to the central line.

The light guide plate includes a body, a plurality of first projections, and a plurality of second projections. The body includes an incident surface to which light is incident and an emitting surface from which the incident light is emitted. The plurality of first projections is disposed on the emitting surface of the body and has a trapezoidal shape in a section perpendicular to the incident surface. The plurality of second projections is disposed on the emitting surface of the body and has a shape symmetrical to a shape of the first projections.

    摘要: An optical sheet includes a base layer, a light-condensing layer and a plurality of light-reflecting portions. The base layer includes a first surface and a second surface. The light-condensing layer includes a plurality of light-condensing portions with a first pitch. The light-condensing portions are formed along a first direction of the second surface. The light-reflecting portions are formed in the first surface to be spaced apart from each other along the -first direction in correspondence with a plurality of grooves, each groove formed between two light-condensing portions. An interval distance between a center of the light-condensing portion and an edge of the light-reflecting portion increases when moving toward the edge of the first surface from a center of the first surface along the first direction. Therefore, the number of the optical sheets used for the display device may be reduced.
