摘要: An image reading device includes a lens mirror array, a photoelectric conversion section, and a diaphragm section. The lens mirror array includes a plurality of optical elements. Each of the optical elements includes an incident-side lens surface, an upstream-side reflection surface, a downstream-side reflection surface, an emission-side lens surface, and a stray light reflection surface. The incident-side lens surface transmits and converges reflected light from a read surface. The upstream-side reflection surface reflects light made incident via the incident-side lens surface. The downstream-side reflection surface reflects the light. The emission-side lens surface transmits and converges the light and images the light on an imaging surface. The stray light reflection surface reflects stray light. The photoelectric conversion section receives, photoelectrically converts, and outputs the reflected light. The diaphragm section is disposed between the read surface and the incident-side lens surface and includes a slit-like opening section.

摘要: An optical device includes an array of lenses and a plurality of first and second segments disposed under the array of lenses. At a first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents a first image for viewing without presenting the second image for viewing, and at a second viewing angle different from the first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents for viewing the second image without presenting the first image for viewing. In some examples, individual ones of the first and second segments can comprise specular reflecting, transparent, diffusely reflecting, and/or diffusely transmissive features. In some examples, individual ones of the first and second segments can comprise transparent and non-transparent regions. Some examples can incorporate more than one region producing an optical effect.

摘要: A method for controlling content rendering by a multi-view, directionally dependent display includes defining a first display as a first pixel of a pixelated array of the multi-view display, the first display associated with a first viewing angle relative to a first axis; and defining a second display as a second pixel of the pixelated array, the second display. The method includes controlling chromatic properties of the first pixel by applying a filter based on a rendering of first content to be displayed. The method also includes controlling chromatic properties of the second pixel by applying a filter based on a rendering of second content to be displayed; and controlling points of incidence of light from the first and second pixel relative to an optical multiplexer thereby changing the directionality of the multi-view, directionally dependent display.

For example, an image capture device may include a mother lens assembly including a first stack of lenses; an image sensor positioned at a first end of the mother lens assembly and configured to detect images based on light incident on the image sensor through the first stack of lenses; a conversion lens assembly including a second stack of lenses, wherein the second stack of lenses is afocal; and a conversion lens mounting apparatus configured to removably attach the conversion lens assembly to the image capture device in a position over a second end of the mother lens assembly, opposite from the image sensor, such that light incident on an outer lens of the second stack of lenses will be refracted through the second stack of lenses and the first stack of lenses to the image sensor.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a surgical lighting device comprising a shell (12), a plurality of light sources (24) coupled to the shell, and a closure plate (18) for closing the lighting device by allowing light to pass through. The closure plate comprises a plurality of lens elements, each lens element being configured to collect and focus light from a corresponding light source to generate a light spot of a predetermined diameter located at a predetermined distance from the lighting device. In order to simplify the structure of the lighting device, the light sources and the cover plate are arranged in such a way that the light beams coming from the light sources and received by the associated lens elements arrive at the lens elements without substantial reflection or deflection. The closure plate therefore comprises all the optics necessary for collecting and focusing the light from the light sources.
