摘要： A fixture is disclosed for grinding involute teeth profiles in a gear blank. Each tooth is generated by reciprocating the gear blank tangentially with respect to the grinding edge of a rotating wheel while oscillating the blank about its axis as the axis is constrained to move in a plane that is parallel to the axis of the grinding wheel.
