Abstract: According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes at least one of memory and processing circuitry. The memory stores a first medical image of a heart area acquired in a plurality of directions and a second medical image of the heart area acquired in real time. The processing circuitry is configured to set, based on the first medical image, each of a valve boundary line indicating a boundary between leaflets of a heart valve and an insertion point on an inner wall through which a catheter is inserted, generate a navigation graphic including the valve boundary line and the safety lines by generating a plurality of safety lines individually connecting the insertion point to ends of the valve boundary line, and superimpose the navigation graphic on the second medical image to generate a superimposed image.

Abstract: An image displaying system according to an embodiment includes an observation target device, a display device and processing circuitry. The display device is configured to display an image. The processing circuitry is configured to: arrange a three-dimensional model relating to the observation target device in a virtual space; acquire data indicating a relative positional relationship between an operator and the observation target device; generate an image of a three-dimensional model included in a blind area when viewed from the operator, based on the data indicating the relative positional relationship and on the three-dimensional model arranged in the virtual space; and display the image on the display device.

Abstract: In one embodiment, an X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes an X-ray source, an X-ray detector, an arm, and processing circuitry. The arm supports the X-ray source and the X-ray detector. The processing circuitry identifies a three-dimensional running direction of a blood vessel of an object from a plurality of images that are obtained by using the X-ray source and the X-ray detector to image the object from at least two different angles, and controls positions of the X-ray source and the X-ray detector by using the arm in such a manner that a target position of the blood vessel is imaged from the at least two different directions determined depending on the three-dimensional running direction.
