Abstract: Provided is a radio frequency identification (RFID) inlay comprising an antenna with a loop on a substrate; an integrated circuit (IC) connected to the loop, wherein the loop provides inductance for the IC, and wherein the antenna has an asymmetric design. The antenna comprises a cross hatch pattern comprising of connection lines to form rectangles, meander lines on one or more sides of the loop, or a solid bar on one or more sides of the loop.
