    Abstract: A wheel and a rim with a weight reduction inner flange are provided. The rim includes an inner flange, a middle portion and an outer flange which are all annular and connected end to end to form an annular rim, in which the inner flange or the outer flange includes multiple groups of edge weight reduction sockets arranged side by side on one side of the inner cavity of a hub, and multiple groups of inner weight reduction sockets arranged side by side are provided inside the edge weight reduction sockets on the rim; a group of edge weight reduction sockets includes a first edge weight reduction socket and a second edge weight reduction socket at the edge of the inner flange or the outer flange, and the first edge weight reduction socket is in the shape of a right-angled triangle having round angles.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a low-pressure cast aluminum wheel mold. The back cavity of a top mold (1) is divided into three parts: the back cavity in a rim area is open, and the wall thickness of the top mold is progressively increased by 15-25 mm from bottom to top; the back cavity in a spoke area is machined in a profile-followed manner, and the top mold has an equal wall thickness of 20-30 mm; at each R angle position where the rim is connected with a spoke, the top mold is provided with a boss (11), the axial wall thickness of the boss (11) is 40-60 mm, and the radial wall thickness is 30-50 mm. A temperature gradient beneficial to progressive solidification of a casting is constructed; by designing an annular water cooling structure at the R angle where the rim is connected with the spoke, quick cooling on the hot spot is specifically realized, the cooling capability is stronger, the cooling range is more exact, bad influence on the adjacent thin-wall part is not produced, and smooth feeding of molten aluminum is ensured.

    Abstract: An automobile hub with a hollow rim includes a wheel disc and the rim with at least one hollow cavity, in which the rim includes at least two mutually nested rings and an axial end cap at the same ends of the at least two rings, and the hollow cavity consists of the rings and the axial end cap. The outer side of one end of the wheel disc includes axial rim mounting grooves, and the rim is inserted into the rim mounting grooves and fixed to the wheel disc through the end without the axial end cap. By employing the automobile hub with the hollow rim, the hub assembling method, and the automobile having the hub, the weight of the hub can be further reduced, and the hub has sufficient strength.
