Abstract: Apparatus for sensing and transmitting, to an indicating means, the position of a movable member comprising a magnet which moves with the member, a plurality of flux responsive switches individually positioned along a line parallel to the path of movement of the member, and a potentiometer electrically connected to the switches to provide a signal commensurate with the position of the member. The signal may then be transmitted to a position indicating device.
