摘要： A portable and ruggedized 3D printing system that is suitable for deployment in extreme environments for combat situations or disaster relief or in remote locations. The 3D printing system includes an enclosure that is openable, water resistant, and made of materials that are impact resistant. A 3D printer within the enclosure includes active and passive suspension systems that provide shock absorption. The 3D printing system further includes one or more internal and/or external sensors that monitor, in real time, various aspects of the printer, its environment, and/or the object being printed. Data from the one or more sensors is used to adjust internal print operating parameters via sensor fusion machine learning algorithms on an onboard processor.
