摘要： Provided is a weld assembly supported from an arm of a heavy equipment vehicle. The vehicle includes a pipe grabber for manipulating the position of a pipe. The weld assembly integrated with and supported from the manipulator. The weld assembly further includes a conforming ring, a sensor assembly and an orbital welder. The weld assembly is also of a clam shell construction for wrapping around two pipe ends to be welded.
