Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for noise attenuation of a generator set are disclosed. The generator set includes an internal combustion engine enclosed within a compartment that substantially isolates the internal combustion from ambient air and a load connected to the internal combustion engine. A heat exchanger is disposed within or coupled to the compartment and is operable to cool air in the compartment without directly exchanging ambient air with compartment air.
